Hetane is a group of musicans combining sordid electronics with sound of rusty guitar, industrial beats with trip hop rhythm. A band of five members with female vocals, depicting stories about human machines, eccentric spirits and primary instincts. The strongest point of Hetane is one of the best current rock vocalists in Poland - Lijen (Magda Oleś). Magda can be predatory as PJ Harvey, sexy as Jennifer Charles (Elysian Fields) or lirycal like Jarboe. Whatever the feel is, she perfectly fits into tremendous sound of the band set up somewhere among Nine Inch Nails, Swans and Portishead.(The text comes from Alternation.eu magazine)
