Big thanks to all those who have attended this year's festival edition. It started unhappily but you proved that despite the bad weather, you cannot refrain yourselves from having fun. Unfortunately, on Friday we bit the dust struggling with the wind which was trying to sweep the stage construction away, outside the walls, but we'll do everything we can to let the stars, who were meant to perform on Friday, appear at the festival next year. We're looking forward to seeing you again!

Castle Party has been placed among the 150 tourist attractions taking part in the plebiscite "Wielkie Odkrywanie Dolnego Śląska" (The Great Discovering of Lower Silesia). In order to vote for our festival, one must send SMS to +48 72355 (cost 2,46 PLN) composed of the text: WOD.63. The poll results can be viewed here.

In a few days "Przesilenie" (Solstice) will premiere at the Castle Party festival in Bolkow (Poland). "Przesilenie" is a brand new printed zine (in Polish only!) devoted to the dark independent scene (gothic, EBM, industrial, ambient). The pilot issue will include interviews (f.e. Diary of Dreams, Suicide Commando, Clan of Xymox, Tides from Nebula, Cyclobe), music and nonmusic columns (from the history of synth music and noise aesthetics to performance, games and comics), extensive review of Wave Gotik Treffen XX and tons of CD reviews. As in the past few years, this time Big Blue Records is also to release a compilation including 16 tracks of the artists who will perform at this year's festival edition.

"Straight into the night" is a story by Piotr Mirski, author who is accompanied with Castle Party team. Post apocaliptic vision of Poland, the land wasted by the Plague, where the couple of wanderers Maja and Paul is steping into the dangerus advanture full of sex, fear and strong emotions. After the journey over the Poland they finally got to Bolkow, small town famous for Castle Party festival. We have been receiving more and more enquiries about the tickets so we would like to tell you to stay at peace. The festival tickets are available for purchase at the castle and there is no danger that we will run out of them, thus please, do not worry about that.
