A czy Ty przypadkiem nie oglądałaś klipów TDS (perkusisty) z dziarskim dziadkiem na wokalu (teraz nie pamiętam nazwiska niestety, to jakiś wokalista hard rockowy z wysp), tu przykład

to było nawet spoko, pełny wigoru i pasji był, no ale rzecz z w tym że był. Ten jego aktualny następca to sorry ale nie wnosi nic poza bólem brzucha (czy z żalu czy ze śmiechu każdy wybiera opcję dla siebie ;)

A tak na marginesie The Danse Society oryginalny skład z lat 80-tych to zawsze bardziej mi się kojarzył z takim rasowym rockiem z lat 80-tych niż z gotykiem. Takie coś miedzy INXS, Duran Duran i U2 (kolejność dowolna). Mieli wszystko aby stać się mainstreamowym bandem na lata ale coś nie zatrybiło, szkoda, no ale Tamizy kijem nie zawrócimy. ;)

Z całym szacunkiem dla obu działających obecnie zespołów pod tym szyldem ale cała akcja to zabijanie legendy tej nazwy. Bo co ma wspólnego jeden i drugi zespół ze składem z lat 80-tych (niewiele) - w zasadzie jedna rzecz dyskwalifikuje imo oba składy na dzień dobry - The Danse Society bez Steve'a Rawlingsa to jak Bauhaus bez Petera. To charyzma Steve'a wynosiła ten zespół ponad przeciętność.

Dla zobrazowania:

Nie twierdzę że muzycy ze starego składu nie mieli wkładu w zespół i nie odbieram im prawa do muzykowania ale jak tak już bardzo chcieli nawiązać do swych młodzieńczych dokonań to mogli z nazwą trochę pokombinować i zrobić jakaś wariację na temat "Danse Society" byłoby chyba uczciwiej.

I skład z jedynie oryginalnym perkusistą ale z męskim wokalem, który to wokal imo jest jakimś żartem, bo nie znajduję innej kategorii na to co widzę i słyszę w wykonaniu tego gościa:

Z "dwojga złego" to wolę jednak brzmienie oryginalnej gitary niż perkusji.

Tak tylko dla ścisłości dodam, że w reaktywowanym TDS byli obaj oryginalni członkowie (gitara + perka, skład z wokalistką) tylko nagle perkusista stwierdził, że coś mu nie pasi, a jak nie wiadomo o co chodzi to wiadomo o co chodzi. Czyli historia z cyklu "jak rozmienić legendę na drobne."

We are the version with male vocals :)
This line-up is the closest the Danse Society has come to recreating the classic 80s period that made the band so unique in the first place. We are very excited about the future. We believe that 2017 will be a big year for us, and the chance to play Castle Party would make it very special. Our new singer J is a huge fan of the festival and the band has had a good relationship with Polish audiences since the 80s!

Hi,

This is the Danse Society with Paul Gilmartin. We have watched many of our friends in wonderful bands play Castle Party over the years. With a new line-up that recaptures the original post-punk spirit of our 80s output, we would be honoured to be considered for the festival in 2017. We are currently working on a new album, have shows confirmed with Theatre of Hate, and have completed several acclaimed dates with 1919 and the Chameleons Vox. Aaa, nie wiedziałem o tym. Myślałem że po prostu rozwiązali z nią współpracę. Świetne wieści. Może zaprosić oba zespoły? :D Zobaczę co się dzieje z tym drugim. Mnie akurat jej wokal przekonuje. ;)

It would be great.
I would like to see this band in Bolkow (the version with male vocal).
Danse Society and other classic goth/post punk/new wave bands - this is the best music which should be on Castle Party.

Maria - o ile dobrze zrozumiałem zespół, to teraz grają właśnie w stylu lat 80tych. :) Chociaż mi osobiście akurat bardzo przypadła płyta z ową panią na wokalu. ;)
